‘LaGrand will help businesses prosper’

This fall, election season has given us a number of things to be excited about for Michigan’s future. The Lansing of old is broken, and so are the same career politicians who have been part of the problem over the last few years.
In the 29th District, I am glad that I will be able to vote for David LaGrand, a Lansing outsider and small businessman form Grand Rapids who understands how government can accelerate business growth. His opponent, Dave Hildenbrand, is the typical career politician who has been a part of Lansing while Michigan suffered through this economic downturn. He does not understand how to run a small business or what it takes for any business to be successful.
In the time of dire economic struggles, Michigan needs a leader like David LaGrand, who has been active in his community by actually creating jobs. LaGrand’s businesses have contributed to the redevelopment of the Wealth Street corridor and have provided a better quality of life. I can think of no one better to help Michigan through its struggles than a businessman and community activist who is sincerely in touch with the people’s needs. David LaGrand has my vote Nov. 2.
