Democrat David LaGrand, 29th State Senate District candidate, unveiled his HIRE Michigan First plan Wednesday with the hope it will help small businesses and create jobs.
LaGrand says his plan comes at no cost.
“We’re talking about giving a structural preference to people who hire Michigan workers,” said LaGrand. “That simply means that when you go through your bid process you take a serious look at that.”
